These Terms of Service explain the conditions for accessing and using the websites, software and related services provided by Intraverse Africa Technology Limited (“Intraverse”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

Intraverse provides travel infrastructure that helps businesses access travel supply, sell travel, manage bookings and support their customers. Please read these Terms before creating an account, purchasing a service or submitting a booking.

1. Who these Terms apply to

These Terms apply to our website, Seller Platform, Intraverse Mobile, White-label Website, Travel Widget, Travel Links, Travel API and related services made available to you.

“You” means the person using the relevant service or, where that person acts with authority for a business, the business entering into the agreement. Individual authorised users must also follow the account-security and acceptable-use requirements that apply to them.

Our business accounts are intended for people aged 18 or over who have authority to act for themselves or the business they represent. If you use Intraverse for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept the applicable terms and give instructions on its behalf.

Where a traveller uses a service provided through a travel business using Intraverse, that business’s booking terms may also apply. The parties involved and their respective roles should be identified in the applicable booking or service information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer and data-protection rights.

2. Acceptance and additional agreements

These Terms form part of your agreement with us when they are presented to you and you accept them through the relevant registration, ordering or contracting process. An agent or other intermediary must have authority to accept applicable booking conditions for a traveller.

Some services require an order form, subscription agreement, API agreement, data-processing agreement or other additional terms. We will make applicable additional terms available before you commit to that service.

If terms conflict:

  • A separately agreed written contract takes priority for the matters it expressly addresses.
  • A data-processing agreement governs the processing covered by that agreement.
  • Product-specific terms govern the relevant product features and commercial arrangements.
  • Supplier conditions govern the supplier’s travel service, subject to mandatory law.
  • These Terms apply to the remaining matters.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Accepting these Terms is not blanket consent to optional marketing or every use of personal information.

3. Intraverse’s role

Intraverse provides technology, distribution access and related operational services. Depending on the arrangement, we may facilitate bookings, collect or process payments, arrange ticketing or provide support through our own supplier relationships or through other authorised providers.

The underlying travel service is generally supplied by an airline, hotel, tour operator or another provider. A ticket or voucher may be issued through Intraverse or another authorised supplier, depending on the booking channel.

We are responsible for the services and obligations we undertake. We do not operate an airline, hotel or tour merely because its services are available through our platform. Supplier failures do not automatically become Intraverse’s responsibility, but this does not exclude responsibility for our own acts, omissions or obligations under applicable law.

Product descriptions explain the features currently offered. A roadmap item, demonstration, waitlist or “coming soon” announcement is not a commitment to deliver a feature by a particular date unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

4. Accounts, verification and authorised users

You must provide accurate registration and business information and keep it reasonably up to date. Access to certain services may depend on identity or business verification, supplier requirements or other checks appropriate to the service.

You are responsible for assigning suitable access to your staff and other authorised users, protecting passwords and API credentials, and removing access when it is no longer required. Do not share personal login credentials when individual user access is available.

Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or an incorrect transaction. We may take proportionate protective measures while investigating. Your responsibility for activity on your account depends on the circumstances; these Terms do not make you automatically liable for activity caused by our security failure or negligence.

Account approval does not grant you airline accreditation, a financial-services licence or any other regulatory permission that your own activities may require.

5. Responsibilities when selling travel

If you use Intraverse to serve customers, you are responsible for:

  • Having the authority and any permissions required for your business activities.
  • Obtaining the customer’s instructions and approval before committing to a booking, change or cancellation.
  • Providing accurate traveller names, contact details, document information and other required details.
  • Explaining the total customer price, your own charges, material restrictions and applicable supplier conditions before payment.
  • Giving customers relevant confirmations, documents and updates available to you.
  • Maintaining appropriate records of approvals, payments and communications.
  • Handling customer information lawfully and providing appropriate privacy information.
  • Meeting the obligations you undertake to your customers, including amounts you collect directly.

You must not misrepresent your relationship with Intraverse or a supplier, claim unsupported guarantees or use our name to suggest an endorsement we have not given.

If the platform permits you to set a markup or service fee, you are responsible for its lawful disclosure and treatment. A configurable markup does not override supplier restrictions or consumer rights.

6. Travel searches, prices and availability

Search results reflect information available from connected sources at the time of the search. Availability, fares, room rates, taxes, exchange rates and supplier conditions can change before a booking is confirmed.

Review the final details and total price before authorising a transaction. For flights, this includes names, dates, airports, baggage and fare conditions. For accommodation, it includes room type, occupancy, meal plan, cancellation conditions, check-in requirements and any amounts payable at the property.

We will seek your approval for a material price or itinerary change before proceeding, unless you have separately authorised a clearly defined alternative. If an offer cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the available options and handle any payment already collected according to the applicable agreement and law.

An obvious pricing or technical error does not permit us to impose a different price without your agreement. Any correction or cancellation must respect the transaction status and applicable rights.

7. Booking confirmation and ticketing

A search result, quotation, payment acknowledgement or booking reference does not necessarily mean that a ticket has been issued or the underlying service finally confirmed.

Check the stated booking status and the applicable confirmation, ticket or voucher. Some bookings are subject to payment clearance, supplier confirmation, verification or a ticketing deadline.

You must provide necessary information and payment in time to meet a deadline communicated to you. An expired reservation may require a new search or price. We remain responsible for handling timely instructions with the care and diligence required of us.

Review issued documents promptly and report errors as soon as possible. Correction options depend on supplier rules, timing, availability and the cause of the error. Reporting an error does not waive any rights you may have concerning it.

Avoid duplicate bookings or repeated payment attempts where the outcome of an earlier attempt is uncertain. Check the booking status or contact support before trying again.

8. Payments, balances and transaction records

Payments must be made through the approved methods and to the beneficiary shown in the applicable checkout or verified invoice. Contact us through an established channel if payment instructions appear to have changed unexpectedly.

Where a wallet or prepaid booking balance is available, the balance records funds or credits available for permitted transactions under the relevant service arrangement. Funding a balance does not itself create a confirmed travel booking. These Terms do not promise interest, deposit insurance or investment returns.

Your account should show the relevant credits, debits and transaction references. Report a discrepancy promptly so it can be investigated. Corrections to duplicate or erroneous entries must be supported by the underlying transaction records and explained to you.

Payment-provider charges, currency conversion and any applicable service charges will be disclosed in the relevant transaction or agreement. We do not guarantee that different providers will use the same exchange rate.

We may delay an affected transaction while reasonably necessary payment or fraud checks are completed. Restrictions must be proportionate, and we will explain them where lawful and practicable.

Unused cleared funds remain subject to legitimate outstanding transactions and obligations. Contact us for return of an eligible unused balance. Any deduction must have an identifiable lawful or contractual basis; account inactivity or closure does not by itself forfeit your money.

9. Plans, subscriptions and other fees

The applicable plan, checkout, quotation or order form sets out the features, billing period, currency, taxes and charges for the service you choose. Booking costs and supplier charges are separate from software subscription fees unless expressly included.

API access and commercial terms are provided through an individual quotation or agreement. These Terms do not publish or fix API pricing.

An introductory offer, trial, setup service, custom implementation or additional module may have separate conditions disclosed before acceptance. A free account does not make travel bookings, payment processing or every product feature free.

Automatic renewal applies only where it is clearly disclosed and authorised as part of the subscription arrangement. The billing terms must explain the renewal period and how to cancel. We will give advance notice of applicable price changes before the affected renewal or purchase.

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals in accordance with its disclosed terms. It does not automatically cancel travel bookings or erase existing obligations. Refunds of subscription or setup charges depend on the agreed service, work performed and applicable rights; there is no blanket exclusion of refunds under these Terms.

10. Changes, cancellations and refunds

The options for changing or cancelling a booking depend on the product, supplier conditions, timing and applicable law. A voluntary cancellation may be treated differently from a cancellation or disruption caused by the supplier.

Where a change requires a fare difference, supplier penalty or Intraverse service charge, we will communicate the relevant quote or charging basis before processing, unless already authorised under an agreed arrangement.

A submitted request is not confirmation that a supplier has accepted a change, void or refund. We will communicate the status and material updates available to us. A booking marked “non-refundable” remains subject to any overriding statutory entitlement.

Supplier-funded refunds can involve supplier approval and remittance. We will explain the source of the refund, any substantiated deductions, the expected process and known delays. Supplier delay does not remove any independent refund obligation imposed on Intraverse by law or contract.

Refunds may be returned to the original payment method or an agreed business balance, subject to applicable requirements. Where money is returned to a travel business for its customer, that business remains responsible for accounting to the customer. A credit must not be substituted for a legally required cash refund without an appropriate basis or agreement.

11. Supplier changes and traveller requirements

Suppliers may change schedules, accommodation arrangements or other service details. We will pass on material notifications received through the relevant service channels and assist within the scope of the service we provide. We cannot guarantee information that a supplier has not communicated to us.

Keep traveller contact details accurate and check current travel information before departure. Travellers are responsible for meeting applicable passport, visa, transit, health, entry and check-in requirements. General information on the platform does not guarantee entry, visa approval or acceptance for travel.

Additional services such as insurance, visa assistance or e-SIMs, where offered, are subject to their stated provider conditions. Availability does not imply that Intraverse is the insurer, issuing authority or telecommunications operator.

12. White-label websites, widgets and Travel Links

You may use a branded website, widget or Travel Link within the scope of your subscription or agreement. Customisation, supported domains, integrations and implementation work are determined by the applicable product offering or agreed scope.

You are responsible for the rights to branding and content you supply, the accuracy of your business information, and the customer-facing disclosures and terms for the services you sell.

Where your own domain or payment gateway is used, the relevant third-party account and service requirements also apply. Responsibility for collections, refunds and customer support must follow the agreed arrangement; using Intraverse technology does not automatically transfer those responsibilities to us.

Your branding and customer materials remain yours or their owner’s. Access to a branded service does not transfer ownership of Intraverse’s software, underlying templates or technology. Any bespoke ownership or handover arrangement must be set out in writing.

13. Travel API and integrations

API use requires the applicable access approval and agreement. Protect production and sandbox credentials and use them only for authorised integrations. Do not expose private keys in public code or customer-facing interfaces.

Follow the applicable documentation, rate limits, security requirements and supplier restrictions. You are responsible for your integration’s customer disclosures, input accuracy, secure data handling and handling of repeated requests or uncertain responses.

Sandbox responses and test bookings are for testing and are not valid for travel. Use synthetic test data unless a separately authorised process permits otherwise.

Production access, supplier coverage, support commitments and version requirements depend on the applicable agreement. We will provide reasonable notice of material planned changes where practicable; urgent security, legal or supplier changes may require faster action.

Do not bypass access controls, exceed agreed access rights or use an integration to obtain information you are not entitled to access.

14. Own GDS or ticketing credentials

Where supported and enabled under your plan, you may connect an authorised Office ID, PCC or other supplier credentials. You must have permission to use those credentials and comply with the related supplier and distribution agreements.

Responsibility for ticketing instructions, supplier settlement, debit memos and charges depends on the applicable arrangement and the cause of the issue. You are not automatically responsible for every charge solely because your credentials were involved; equally, platform access does not transfer your supplier obligations to Intraverse without agreement.

15. Mobile app and device permissions

Intraverse Mobile is subject to these Terms and applicable app-store distribution terms. Features may vary by device, operating system, app version and account access.

Permissions such as notifications, camera access or selected-file uploads are requested for relevant supported features. The Privacy Policy explains the associated information handling and your choices.

Keep your device and app reasonably up to date. Use of a device permission does not grant additional business-account privileges, authorise another person’s data to be uploaded or approve a financial transaction.

16. Special payment and financing arrangements

Any price-freeze, instalment, credit or other deferred-payment arrangement requires separate eligibility, disclosures and acceptance of its specific terms. Access to the ordinary platform does not establish a right to financing or a guarantee of approval.

The separate terms must explain payment dates, charges, ticket restrictions, default consequences and refund allocation before you agree. These general Terms do not establish an undisclosed financing fee or authorise deductions outside the agreed arrangement and applicable law.

17. Acceptable use

You must not use Intraverse to:

  • Make fraudulent, speculative or unauthorised bookings or payments.
  • Impersonate another person or provide materially false verification information.
  • Access another business’s records or use customer data without authority.
  • Distribute malware, compromise systems or interfere with other users’ access.
  • Evade security controls, agreed rate limits or supplier restrictions.
  • Infringe intellectual-property rights or distribute unlawful content.
  • Extract or reuse data beyond your authorised access or in violation of applicable rights.
  • Conduct illegal activity or knowingly assist another person to do so.

Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly through our contact channels. Do not access unrelated data or disrupt services in the course of testing.

18. Intellectual property and business data

Intraverse and its licensors retain rights in the platform, software, documentation and branding. Subject to the applicable agreement, you receive a limited right to use the service for authorised purposes during the relevant service period.

You retain your rights in content and business materials you provide. You grant us the rights needed to host, process, display and transmit those materials to deliver and support the agreed service. This does not give us unrestricted rights to market your business or publish your customer data.

Personal information is handled under applicable law, the Privacy Policy and any relevant data-processing agreement. Neither party obtains unrestricted ownership of a person’s data through these Terms.

Permission to use your name, logo or customer story in public marketing must be separately established. Using the platform alone does not provide that permission.

19. Confidentiality and data protection

Each party must protect non-public business information received in connection with the service and use it only for the relevant relationship, except where disclosure is authorised or legally required. This does not restrict information independently developed, lawfully received from another source or already public without a breach.

Businesses supplying traveller information must have a lawful basis, appropriate authority and relevant privacy disclosures. Where Intraverse processes personal information on a business’s instructions, the applicable data-processing terms govern that work.

Do not place real traveller data in demonstrations, public repositories or unapproved testing environments. Notify us promptly of a suspected incident affecting credentials or information used with the service.

20. Availability, support and service changes

We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. Availability can be affected by maintenance, internet connectivity, supplier systems and events outside our reasonable control. We do not promise uninterrupted operation or a particular service level unless it is expressly agreed.

Support coverage and response commitments depend on the applicable service arrangement. A support request is not itself an instruction accepted by a supplier or a guarantee that a time-sensitive transaction has been completed.

We will give reasonable advance notice of material planned service reductions or discontinuation where practicable and explain the available transition options. Changes will not retrospectively remove rights relating to a paid service or confirmed transaction.

21. Suspension, termination and account closure

We may restrict affected access where reasonably necessary to address a security risk, unlawful activity, material breach, overdue undisputed charges or a binding supplier or legal requirement.

Where practicable, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve it before suspension or termination. Immediate action may be necessary to protect users or systems. Restrictions should be proportionate and reviewed when the reason for them ends.

You may request account closure through the available account controls or by contacting us. Closure does not automatically cancel active travel, extinguish legitimate debts or remove statutory records.

On closure, we will explain how active bookings, eligible refunds, unused cleared balances and authorised data exports are to be handled. Access to data or funds may be limited where a lawful restriction applies, but these Terms do not authorise their arbitrary forfeiture.

If we discontinue a prepaid service for convenience before the paid period ends, we will provide an appropriate remedy for the undelivered portion, subject to your applicable rights and agreement.

Confidentiality, accrued payment obligations, applicable data handling and provisions needed to resolve existing transactions or disputes continue where their nature requires it.

22. Responsibility and liability

Each party is responsible for its own breach of the applicable agreement and its acts or omissions to the extent provided by law. Responsibility for a loss depends on its cause, the obligations undertaken and the applicable legal rules.

Intraverse does not guarantee a supplier’s performance or a customer’s commercial results merely by providing access to the platform. This does not excuse our own failure to carry out an obligation or remove a remedy that the law provides.

Any specific negotiated allocation or cap on business-to-business liability must be expressly stated in the applicable agreement and is enforceable only to the extent permitted by law. These general Terms do not impose a blanket waiver of claims or an undisclosed financial cap.

Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These Terms also do not remove an obligation to account for money, repay an amount lawfully due or provide mandatory consumer remedies.

You may dispute a transaction through available lawful channels. We may request supporting records and investigate payment reversals, but raising a genuine dispute is not itself prohibited conduct. Do not submit knowingly false claims or seek duplicate recovery of the same amount.

23. Events outside reasonable control

An event outside a party’s reasonable control may affect performance, including a major network failure, natural disaster, government restriction or supplier-system disruption.

The affected party must take reasonable steps to limit the impact, communicate material consequences and resume performance where possible. Such an event does not automatically remove payment-return obligations, mandatory traveller rights or liability unrelated to the event.

24. Complaints, governing law and disputes

Please contact hello@intraverse.africa with the subject “Service complaint”, the relevant account or booking reference, a description of the issue and the remedy you seek. Do not include passwords or complete card details.

We will investigate and seek to resolve complaints fairly. Contacting us does not prevent you from using a competent regulator, payment dispute process or court, and does not suspend a legal deadline unless expressly agreed or provided by law.

Unless a separate agreement validly provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by Nigerian law. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Lagos, Nigeria have non-exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

These Terms do not impose mandatory arbitration or prevent a complaint to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, the Nigeria Data Protection Commission or another competent authority where applicable.

25. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, commercial arrangements or legal requirements. We will identify the revised effective date and give reasonable advance notice of material changes where required or appropriate.

Changes apply prospectively and do not rewrite an existing confirmed booking or paid commitment without a lawful basis or agreement. Where acceptance is required, we will request it through the relevant process. If you do not accept a proposed material change, contact us about ending the affected service and handling existing obligations.

26. General provisions and contact

If a provision cannot lawfully be enforced, it will be limited or separated to the extent necessary without removing the rest of the agreement. A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not automatically waive it for the future.

Neither party may transfer an agreement in a way that unlawfully reduces the other party’s rights. Any permitted transfer must respect confidentiality, data protection and the applicable service obligations.
