01 / FAQ
About the platform
What is Intraverse?
Intraverse is the travel infrastructure platform for Africa. It connects global travel supply with technology, payments, ticketing, and booking operations through a seller platform, branded websites, fully customizable travel widgets, and APIs.
Who is it for?
Intraverse is built for new travel businesses, established agencies, travel brands, and businesses adding travel to an existing website or digital product for African customers. Our team will confirm access and the available services for your operating market. CoopX and Travel Independents are upcoming offerings for company travel and individual sellers.
What does “travel infrastructure” mean?
It is the system behind the sale: access to inventory, booking technology, payment flows, ticket issuance, customer records, and post-booking operations. Intraverse connects these capabilities so businesses can build on them.
Is Intraverse IATA-accredited?
Yes. Intraverse holds IATA accreditation in its own name and has direct airline ticketing authorities.
02 / FAQ
Starting a travel business
Can I use Intraverse if I am just starting a travel business?
Yes. Intraverse supports new and established travel businesses. Start by creating your account and business profile, then explore available inventory. Complete the required KYC and funding steps before your first booking. Our team can explain the requirements for your operating market.
Do I need my own website or technical team?
You can use the Seller Platform without building a website or an API integration. Choose Travx if you need a branded booking website, or explore the Travel Widget for an existing website. An API integration requires development work.
Do I need to connect suppliers myself?
Intraverse provides access to its connected inventory for supported bookings. You do not need to build each of those supplier connections yourself. Product availability and any additional setup requirements depend on your account and market.
What do I need to prepare before my first booking?
Complete your business profile and required KYC, arrange wallet funding, and confirm the customer details, fare or product conditions, and payment before booking. Ask our team about the current account requirements and applicable charges for your setup.
Do I need to wait for Travel Independents to launch?
New travel businesses can start through the live Seller Platform, subject to account requirements. Travel Independents is a separate upcoming programme with its own participation terms.
Where do I get help with an existing account or booking?
Use the Help Centre for account setup, verification, wallet and booking questions. Developers planning an integration can start with the developer guide.
03 / FAQ
Selling travel
Can a business in my country use Intraverse?
Tell us where your business operates and which markets you want to serve. We’ll confirm account access, available products, payment and settlement options, and onboarding requirements for your country.
Can I serve journeys within Africa and beyond?
Search the available inventory for domestic, regional, and international journeys. Coverage depends on the route, supplier, product, and services enabled for your account.
What can I sell?
The platform supports flights, hotels, tours, packages, insurance, and eSIMs. Available inventory and services depend on your account, product, supplier, and market.
Do I need my own IATA accreditation to get started?
You can use Intraverse’s booking infrastructure without your own IATA accreditation. Complete the applicable account verification and service requirements before transacting.
Can I use my own GDS Office ID or PCC?
Eligible paid arrangements support connections to your agency’s Amadeus, Sabre, or Travelport credentials. Discuss setup and supplier requirements with our team.
Can I set my own markup?
Yes. Supported markup tools let you price your service. Review the customer total and applicable fees before confirming the booking.
How do I earn?
Your earnings depend on the markup you apply and any available supplier commission, less applicable costs. The total booking value is different from the amount your business earns.

05 / FAQ
Payments and servicing
How does the wallet work?
Fund your account through the available methods and use the credited balance for supported booking transactions. Follow balances and transaction history in your workspace.
Can my customers pay online?
Supported websites and payment flows allow online payment. Methods, gateways, and settlement arrangements depend on your setup.
Can you help after the ticket is issued?
Yes. Intraverse supports post-booking requests such as changes, refunds, voids, open-ticket requests, and additional services. Available actions and any charges depend on the supplier and booking conditions.
Is an open-ticket request a paid service?
Intraverse’s service for opening a flight ticket is free and processed manually by the team. A later rebooking is a separate action and follows the ticket’s applicable conditions and charges.
